The other day, as a train
loaded with troops leaving Jackson, Miss., two soldiers belonging to the
late Col. Heiman's 10th Tennessee Regiment, of Nashville, who had been
drinking some and were engaged in scuffling on the top of a car, lost
balance and fell off. The neck of one was broken, and the other also
instantly killed, by being crushed under the wheels of the cars. ***** |
