Proposals will be received at
this office until the 1st of February, 1862, for extending the Lattice
Bridge, over the Altamaha river, one hundred feet. Also, for
re-building the draws and main bridges over the Great and Little
Ogeechee rivers, and driving one hundred additional piles. Piles to be
cut off and capped on a level with ordinary low tide. Upper portions of
the two Ogeechees to be dressed and painted. Lumber and paint to be
