Special Notice to Consignees of Cotton |
The attention of Consignees is
earnestly requested to the regulations of this Company, which require
the removal of Cotton from the yard immediately after the discharge from
the Cars. Unless Cotton is removed according to rule, it will be removed
by the Company into City Warehouses and stored at the expense of
Consignees. |
The rush of Cotton is such at
this moment that there will not be room for its discharge,
notwithstanding the very large space allotted for its reception, if
Consignees fail to have it promptly hauled out. |
I appeal to the Merchants and
to owners of drays to aid me in my efforts (which I promise shall be
unremitting) so to conduct business as that they as well as the Company
shall not be put to unnecessary trouble or delay. |
Let us work together with a
will and we can accomplish our task. |
