Buffalo Bayou, Brazos & Colorado Railway |
Train leaves Alleyton, (two miles east of
Columbus,) daily -- except Sundays -- at 10:10 A. M., and arrive at
Harrisburg at 5:10 P. M., connecting with cars and steamer for
Galveston {Galveston, Houston & Henderson
RR}. Also at Houston Tap Junction on with cars for Houston. |
Passengers from the upper Colorado will
find this the Most Comfortable Route to Galveston, and with less
staging then by any other. |
train leaves Harrisburg on arrival of cars
from Galveston, connecting at Alleyton with stages for Columbus,
LaGrange, Bastrop, Austin, &c. -- reaching LaGrange in time to
allow several hours rest before leaving for Bastrop and Austin. |
All freight will be forwarded with
despatch and care, and will be protected from all damage while in the
custody of the company. |
