Columbia & Hamburg Railroad |
At a meeting of the Directors
of the Columbia & Hamburg Railroad, held on the 28th ult., it was
resolved that the President be requested to go to Richmond and advise
with the Government as to the propriety of a vigorous prosecution of
the work of construction, and that, in the meantime, a few contractors
who are ready be put to work. The report of the Chief Engineer, J. G.
Gibbes, was also ordered to be published. It will be found in our
columns of today, and will be of interest to stockholders and others. |
