The annual meeting of the
stockholders of the Greenville & Columbia Railroad Company was
held at their hall on Thursday. Wm. M. Lawton, Esq., presided as
Chairman, and C. V. Carrington, Secretary of the Company, acted as
Secretary. The usual business was transacted. The Directors' report of
the past year's business presents a very favorable condition of the
affairs of the company. Col. Jas. L. Orr was elected to fill the place
of Judge Whitner, and Gen. A. C. Garlington to fill the place of Judge
O'Neall, in the Board of Directors. The President and other Directors
of the old Board were re-elected. |
