Until the 25th inst.,
Confederate Treasury notes will be received in payment of freight car
and fare at par, except where passengers enter the cars without
tickets, in which case they will be required to make change for their
passage, or submit to a deduction of thirty-three and one-third per
cent. on all bills offered over the denomination of five dollars. |
After the 25th inst., the said
notes will be received for all dues at a discount of 33 1/3 per cent. |
