Notice to Contractors and to those Wishing
Railroad Employment |
|
Proposals will be received
until the 10th of March for the Graduation of twenty (20) miles of the
Shelby & Broad River Railroad. The Company will contract for the
work in sections, or the whole; or they will hire the hands and engage
the services of those who supply the labor. As the Government is
interested in the speedy completion of this Road, the company will be
able to offer great inducements to those furnishing twenty-five or
more able-bodied negroes. The country is remarkably healthy, and is
one of the most secure from hostile invasion. For further
particulars, apply to the undersigned, at Limestone's ??riags, S. C. |
