Explosion at Danville |
The Danville Monitor of the 3d instant says that
at 10 o'clock that morning the boiler of the locomotive "Culpeper"
exploded at the Piedmont depot, severely, if not fatally, injuring
Captain A. C. Lander, and badly wounding the fireman. The engineer and
Mr. Wm. Robinson, transportation agent, were slightly scalded, together
with several bystanders. |
