The Covington & Ohio Railroad |
The House of Delegates,
yesterday, ordered to its engrossment, a bill appropriating ten
millions of dollars towards the completion of the Covington & Ohio
Railroad. The bill has encountered considerable opposition, but it is
expected that, when the question of its passage is submitted to the
House, the friends of the measure will make up the two-thirds vote
required by the Constitution. |
