Distressing Accident
   A soldier fell from the cars on the Weldon & Weldon Railroad, on the night of the 8th instant, near Falcon's Station, and was horribly mangled.
   On his person was found a care of surgical instruments, entirely ruined; a certificate to Andrew C. Crombie, Assistant Surgeon 1st Texas Regiment; also a furlough signed by command of Lieut. Gen. Longstreet; also a receipt from the Quartermaster's office, Wilmington, N. C., (8th Feb.) certifying that one hundred and ten dollars had been paid to A. C. Crombie, Assistant Surgeon, signed Jas. R. Huggins, Capt. and A. Q. M., and one dollar in Confederate money, a few private letters, &c., &c.
