Virginia & Tennessee Road |
From the Lynchburg Republican we learn that a
large number of hands have been employed on the Tennessee Railroad to
repair the damage caused by the late raid of Stoneman. The work will be
pushed forward with all the accustomed energy of Colonel Owen and Major
Godwin, and it is hoped the repairs will be completed within the next
six weeks or two months. |
