| Damage to the Piedmont Railroad |
| The Danville Register learns that the heavy
values of yesterday washed down the tressel work on the Piedmont
Railroad, between Reidsville and Benaja {7 miles},
and between Greensboro and Sepinaw {8 miles},
so that the trains cannot pass over that portion of the road. It will
require several days to repair the damage done. |
