Railroad Accident |
A freight train on the R. F. & P.
{Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac} Road
ran into the rear and of a train containing commissary stores, standing
on the track Tuesday night, and broke up several freight cars, but
injured no one. This is the first accident that he occurred on that road
since the army has been relying on it for its supplies, and is partly
attributable to the want of a telegraph line on the road by which the
trains could be run with more security. |
