A car load is estimated to contain 6 3/4
tons, so that the receipts from 1st January to 1st December, this year
except the quantity sent to Belle Isle, was 3,505 car loads, or 23,658
tons; and same time '61, 15,850 tons. Increase 6,541 tons. We have a
record showing that the receipts of coal, by this railroad, from 1st
January to 1st December '60 were 31,072 tons; and same time, in '59,
26,847 tons. |
