The {Virginia} Central
train failed to arrive last evening, in consequence of an accident to
the train, at Bumpass Station. The hind cars of the train broke down,
and occasioned considerable wreck. One man was killed and several
injured. The down train, due at a quarter to six o'clock, had not
passed at five o'clock, and would be behind time three or four hours.
