Railroad Convention |
A Convention of the Presidents of the
several Southern Railroads has recently been held in Richmond, at
which it was determined to establish rolling mills and machine shops
at four points in the South, for the supply of the necessary materials
for carrying on the Roads from our own resources. This is a good move,
and ought to have been adopted six months ago. |
