The {Richmond &} York
River Railroad |
The passenger trains on this road leave
the depot in this city at eight o'clock every morning for Bromley's
Crossing, in New Kent county, 22 miles from Richmond, and return at 5
1/2 o'clock in the afternoon. Beyond the above point, the track was
recently destroyed by the Yankees, and as they carried off the iron,
no attempts have been made by the company to reconstruct it, owning to
the scarcity of that article. |
