Excursions |
The excursions gotten up by the
Fredericksburg railroad company {Richmond,
Fredericksburg & Potomac RR} to Ashland are becoming quite
popular with those of our citizens who are anxious to take a day's
recreation in the country. To add to the pleasures of the trip, our
friend Perry has opened the hotel at Ashland, and is ready to
accommodate all who may give him a call. He is one of the class that
"know how to keep a hotel," and we vouch for it that his
table will be supplied with the utmost that the country affords, while
he will do his best to make his guests feel at home. An evening's or
moring's ride, with a good meal at Ashland, at a reasonable price, is
a great inducement in these times of scarcity. |
