To the Stockholders of the Roanoke Valley Railroad |
Learning that Doctor Smith will decline
the Presidency of your Company, permit me to call your attention to
Col. Jas. A. Clarkson, late of this city, but now of Charlotte county,
as eminently qualified for that office. His long business experience,
indomitable energy and perseverance, l??res success in whatever he
undertakes; and I can safely say, under his administration, the road
would be pushed to a speedy completion. Consult the interest of your
road and the country, by making him your President. |
