The trestle work on the
railroad between Meridian and Jackson {Alabama
& Mississippi Rivers RR}, which was washed up a couple of
weeks since and caused the great accident of precipitating a train of
cars into the water, will soon be completed and thereby restore the
former railroad connection between Selma and Vicksburg. |
