Mr. Samuel Ruth,
superintendent of the Richmond and Fredericksburg railroad {Richmond,
Fredericksburg & Potomac RR}, for some
days confined in Castle Thunder, on the charge of conveying
information to the enemy, was on yesterday examined by Commissioner
Baxter, and honorably discharged, there not appearing against him the
first particle of evidence. This is exactly what we expected. |
