Horrible Railroad Accident |

Dr. Wiley C. Bee
{Beckwith}, of Company
D, 1st Arkansas regiment, was killed at the Tennessee Depot {of
the Virginia & Tennessee RR} this
evening, in attempting to get on the cars after they had started. He
was horribly mangled, and died in a few minutes. He had re-enlisted
for the war, and was on his return home on furlough to his residence
in Jefferson county, Ark. |
