| Seventy-five Hands Wanted |
| The Alabama Coal Mining
Company will hire seventy-five No. 1 fellows for the Mines in Shelby
county, Alabama, at fair prices. |
| A safer location for the
times, or a healthier one at any time, cannot be found in the
Confederate States. |
| The hands will be well
treated, furnished subsistence and medical attention, should any be
required; also, clothing and shoes and taxes paid the ensuing year --
owners submitting to a pro rata deduction for lost time exceeding one
week at any one time. |
| Twenty-five hands wanted
immediately; the balance to suit convenience, by first January next. |
| Trained Miners mostly
preferred. |
