Among those who were killed in
the late terrible railroad accident at Chunkey river,
{Southern (of Mississippi)} in Mississippi,
was W. P. Grayson, formerly Cashier of the Bank of New Orleans. He had
been for sometime engaged as agent of the Government buying cotton. When
the accident occurred he had in his possession $40,000 in currency,
which has been recovered. |
