Resuming Operations |
Operations are being resumed on the {Virginia}
Central Railroad, and all the stock removed thence is now being
returned, over the temporary track on Broad street. On Monday, while
one of the heavy engines was being slowly steamed down the hill, it
slipped off and upset. The fireman and engineer escaped. The engine
was not seriously damaged, and will soon be on the track again. |
