Runaway -- Two Negroes, Named Sandy and Ned |
Sandy was hired from H. B. Hoomes, Esq.,
of Fredericksburg, and ran away from the employment of this Company
about the middle of last January. He is about 26 years old, very black,
5 feet 7 inches high, heavy set, and has rather a sullen countenance. He
was employed last year as a driver for Mr. J. H. Enroughty, of this
city. |
Ned was hired from Mrs. Sarah Lynch, of
Petersburg, and ranaway on the 14th of last March. He is about 24 years
old, quite black, about 5 feet 6 inches high, and has marks of small pox
on his face. |
I will give a reward of $100 for the
delivery of Sandy, and $76 for Ned. It is supposed that they are in some
of the camps of the army. |
