Winter clothing for the army |
*** At the various railway
depots we daily observe large boxes of clothing and other requisite
sent on from the States south of us their troops in the several
divisions of the army. These are always in charge of a special agent,
whose duty it is to see that they reach their destination. At the {Richmond
&} Danville depot 213 boxes were received from Mississippi
alone. *** |
