The Petersburg Express announces the
arrest of Mr. Gen. {Glen?} N. Hatch, a prominent citizen of
Prince George. He was taken into custody on Tuesday, at his residence near
Garysville, because he refused to pilot the enemy to the rear of
"Disputanta," a station on the Norfolk
& Petersburg
railroad, where they hoped to capture
the train which has been running to
Wakefield, in the county
of
Sussex. Mr. Hatch boldly maintains his loyalty to the South, and is by no
means intimidated by the threats of his captors. |
