Struck by lightning |
On Wednesdaynight last a car
on the {Virginia} Central
Railroad, at Waynesboro', containing a large lot of Government goods, designed to make
clothing for the soldiers, was burned, and many of the goods destroyed
and others damaged. As there was a severe storm prevailing at the
time, the supposition is that the car
was struck by lightning, and thus fired. |
