Telegraphic Extension |
We understand a telegraph line
is to be put up by the Virginia Central Railroad
between Staunton
and Jackson
River, and thence to the White Sulphur Springs. Specifications for
furnishing posts, &c., have been prepared, and it is expected the
whole line to the White Sulphur will be completed in the course of
fifteen or twenty days. This will make, when completed, direct
telegraphic communication between
Richmond
and the White Sulphur Springs. |
