Accident |
The passenger train on the {Richmond}
& Danville Railroad ran off the track, yesterday afternoon,
a few miles this side of Amelia C. M. Mr. Kent, of this city; Mr.
Little, and two colored men were killed. Three negroes were wounded by
leaping from the box car attached to the
train. Eight cars were badly smashed up. The two gentlemen killed were
standing on the platform. The trains on the read are running as usual. |
