Griffin, Ga, July 19 |
Four miles below Jonesboro' the {Macon
& Western RR} engine Sunshine
blew up. The engineer, Joe Haskey, Dr. Dennis, Dr. Harris, and a negro
wood passer, were killed, and also Tanner, of the 35th Tenn, a train
guard. The engine and five cars are a
total wreck. The track will be clear before morning. |
