| Railroad accident |
| On Tuesday night last a
freight train bound South, and a special train going North, on the Mobile
& Ohio Railroad, came in collision
at Newton, Tenn., by which accident two persons were killed and twenty-five wounded.
The accident, it is said, was caused by carelessness. |
