Some of the cross-ties on the {Richmond
&} Danville railroad,
a half mile above Amelia C. H., yesterday, as a freight train was
passing over them, gave way, by which two cars were smashed up, and
had to be thrown from off the track. No one was killed. The mail train
was detained by the accident from one o'clock till six. |
