A solder was killed on the {Virginia}
Central road, sixty miles above this city, on Monday, about two
o'clock, by falling from the platform of the car.
Previous to the accident it appears that he had taken out the coupling
iron that connects the cars, causing some delay to the train, and was
requested by the conductor to desist, but disregarding it, met with a
very painful and sudden death. |
