The accident on the {Richmond
&} Danville railroad |
Staunton
bridge, which was so much damaged by an accident to a train of cars on
Wednesday morning last, has been put in complete repair, and trains
will run regularly to Danville
as usual. Ten persons were killed by this accident, and six seriously
wounded. The dead have been buried in the vicinity of the scene of the
unfortunate occurrence. A large quantity of corn belonging to the
Confederate States was lost by falling in the
Roanoke river
