| This railroad
has now before the General Assembly a bill soliciting aid to the
extent of $100,000, in order to complete it. The State owns
five-sevenths of the whole stock, and the Directory say that with that
sum of money (for which they ask) the road can be completed in a short
time, and placed on a paying footing. |
