Railroad accident |
A collision occurred on the Wilmington
& Weldon Railroad last Saturday
morning, about two o'clock, at a places known as Joyner's Crossing.
Fortunately no lives were lost, though the engineer of one of the
trains was badly hurt, and some other persons sustained slight
injuries. The locomotives, baggage, mall and express care, were
considerably smashed up. |
