Accident |
At a late hour yesterday afternoon, an
accident occurred on Broad street, by which a little boy, named Joseph C. Terrell, sustained an injury
which subsequently necessitated the amputation of his leg. While the Camp
Lee
train was ringing for its departure from this city to that place,
Terrell jumped upon the engine; but,
losing his balance, fell to the track, and being caught thereunder,
had his left leg broken. At a later hour he was considered out of
danger, though his sufferings were very great. |
