Detention of the cars |
Two of the cars of the upward
bound freight train of the Virginia Central road ran off by the
opening of the track yesterday, when the train was one mile this side
of Hanover C. H., causing a detention of two hours to the upward
morning mail train. The evening train, due at half-past 4 o'clock
yesterday, arrived at a quarter past six o'clock, having been detained
at Gordonsville,
waiting for the cars of the Orange & Alexandria railroad. |
