Accident on the {Richmond
&} Danville Railroad |
On Saturday afternoon the
material train on the Danville road, going West, ran off the track
about one mile from Amelia C. H., which resulted in considerably
damaging some four or five of the cars composing the train. No one was
injured by the accident, but the passenger train was detained for some
hours, the through passengers missing connection at Burkesville. The
accident is supposed to have been caused by the spreading of the
track. |
