| Election of Railroad Superintendent |
| At a meeting of the Directors of the
Richmond & Petersburg Railroad Company, held yesterday, Mr. E.
H. Gill was elected Superintendent of Transportation, vice Mr.
Thos. H. Wynne, resigned. It was determined to add $500 to the salary,
making it $2,500; and under these circumstances it is presumed that
Mr. Gill will be induced to relinquish his present position on the
Virginia & Tennessee Railroad. |
