Railroad Collision |
The Hickman Courier, of
the 12th, says: |
"We learn that an
unfortunate collision occurred on the Mobile & Ohio Railroad
last evening, by which two men were killed and several badly wounded.
Neither the conductor or engineer have made their appearance since the
occurrence, and it is supposed they did the deed on purpose, to
prevent a movement of troops from Columbus." No information of an occurrence of the kind has come to our
knowledge from any other source. |
