Notice to Parties Having Hands to Hire |
This Company is desirous of hiring for the
ensuing year, Three Hundred Hands to work on the line of Road from
Danville to Greensboro'. |
The Road runs through a healthy country,
is free from all invasions of the enemy, and is thereby rendered one
of the most desirable localities for slaves in the South. |
Liberal wages will be paid and good
treatment insured. |
Rations will be furnished by the Company
-- two suits of clothing will be given and medical attention
administered in case of sickness. |
Parties having hands to hire, and desire
to make advantageous dispositions of them for the ensuing year, will
please call at the office of the Company, or address the undersigned
at Danville, Va. |
