| No Richmond Papers |
| We were anxiously and confidently
expecting the Richmond papers yesterday, so as to be able to present our
readers with the President's Message in extenso this morning. But
as bad luck would have it, when the mail was opened, no Richmond papers
were there -- an accident on the Railroad between Greensboro' and
Danville having prevented the Northern train making connection with the
train coming on to Raleigh. This is vexatious; but we have had enough of
misfortunes to make us bear them very patiently, as we do in the present
instance. |
