To Refugees and others having Negroes to Hire

The railroad from Danville to Greensborough is about to begin construction, on a large scale, and requires a numerous force of laborers, as well as overseers of experience who can come well recommended.

The price of $10 per month will be paid for the best hands, and in proportion for inferior ones. They must be supplied with clothing by their owners, and when delivered to the Company, must be provided with one week's rations of food, for which rations due allowance will be made in the first monthly settlement.

Payments will be made monthly in cash.

Overseers accompanying parties of hands will be given preference over others, if otherwise satisfactory.
The hands may be delivered to the agents at any of the depots on the {Richmond &} Danville Railroad, or at Greensborough, N. C., after the 25th inst.
