| A freshet occurring on the
Jackson Railroad {New Orleans, Jackson &
Great Northern RR}, this side of Jackson, prevented the arrival
of the mail train yesterday, so that we were without mail or express
advices. We understand that it was expected the train thus delayed
would arrive here at about 4 o'clock this morning. |
