| The following resolution was
adopted by the Board of Directors of this Company, at their meeting
held on the 12th instant: |
| Resolved, That the Secretary
be and he is hereby directed to insert in two newspapers published in
New Orleans, and two in Mississippi, an advertisement, calling a
meeting of the stockholders of this Company, at the office of the
Company, in New Orleans, on the first Monday of March, 1862, from 9
o'clock, A. M., to 3 o'clock, P. M., to vote on the acceptance or
rejection of the act of the Legislature of Mississippi, granting the
right to issue notes for circulation as money. |
