| The Memphis Avalanche says: |
| There are only about two miles
of track to lay between White River and Little Rock; and that division
will be completed, probably by the 1st of February. We shall then have
finished the first division, from Memphis to Madison, forty miles; and
the third division, from White river to Little Rock, forty-seven
miles; leaving the middle division, of forty-eight miles, yet to be
finished from Madison to White River. |
